There is just no way around it - Law School Outlines are a fundamental party of studying for law school. You need a good outline to study for your finals. Professors will constantly remind their students to work on their outlines. The profs really don't care if you do or not, but they were once there too and know the value of a good outline. A good outline is a huge help when it comes to studying for finals.
One thing no one really talks about is how valuable they can be for everyday use. No one talks about that because they assume you are making your own outline so how in the world could you have it done and ready for class. Well, that is partially true - time is a valuable commodity. However, now days you can easily search the Internet for hundreds of outlines by former law students.
Another reason no one talks about using someone's outline is because they think it is cheating or that you won't work as hard. First I do not believe it is cheating. You still need to do all the work of studying for finals. Not even the best law school outline can guarantee any grade.
However, using an outline done by someone who has already gone through the process becomes a valuable resource. An outline provides the framework to create one's own work. So, don't be afraid to use them, but use them wisely.
On this blog, I will try to find you the best resources for outlines and study aids. I have been there before and hope I can be a resource.
